Become a Board Member

Bebashi is currently looking for committed individuals with a broad range of skills, experience, and interests to be a part of our Board of Directors. The Board is expected to work in appropriate partnership with the President/CEO, who is responsible for the day-to-day operations, to:

• Contribute to the implementation of the Bebashi Strategic 3 Year Plan
• Approve Bebashi’s annual budget and audit reports, ensuring that the organization meets all legal and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Solicit corporate or individual contributions.
• Engage in outreach for the organization.

In addition, Board members are expected to serve on designated Board Committees and work with other members to ensure that board resolutions are carried out.

Bebashi seeks to achieve a diverse mix of cultural, racial, gender, and professional backgrounds for the board. Interested candidates should submit a short letter of interest (250 words or less) stating why they would like to serve on the Bebashi board, including any relevant biographical information to the President of the Board of Directors, Marcine Pickron-Davis at marcinepi@bebashi.org.

Commitment to Bebashi’s Board of Directors is on a volunteer basis and is not a paid position.
